Black and White

I will always love working in black and white for portraits.  The pure play of shadow and light, the way skin tones are captured – these things are rendered so beautifully in black and white.  There’s two subsections under Black and White, the first being more ‘straight’ portraits, i.e. portraits for the purpose of capturing the subject, making them look good, that kind of thing.  The second subsection is for more ‘arty’ portraits, playing with movement, with textures and background/scenery.
